A great house for some truly wonderful people...there is only one New York, and only one Sal. With the considerable help of Chris Russell and Julie
Ali, as well as several other hardworking volunteers, some beautiful rooms. For the master, Nancy designed wall tattoos to accent some lovely faux.
Next is the cricket room - near and dear to Nancy's husband's heart, as he comes from England - done, of course, for Ed Sanders. That is a wicked
googly! Last, Central Park for the hopscotch room, just the way it should be for a little girl.
The City of Brotherly Love. First up is a valence and faux wall, as well as a mural for Paige Huff's Medieval room. Next, for Philly native Paul Dimeo, a
life size sketch of Chris Webber, and his hand, with Nancy's for scale. Finally, for Preston Sharp's Ben Franklin room, a special $100 bill with the help
of Jim at Sign a Rama. Thanks to Susan and Sarah, and to DK Books, especially Rachel, for their kind donations.
A truly extreme house for an exceptional family. Top left is the igloo room for a girl who loves the cold, including a domed ceiling designed by Nancy
and a view to the polar bears out the back door. Next is little Isabella's therapy room, with shape recognition mural to aid in reading development.
Next, for Paul Dimeo, a banana mirror to accent is rockin' monkey room - with monkeys designed and painted by Nancy, of course. For Paige
Hemmis, the sports equipment wall accents.  Last, the first ever guest host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition- Nancy's beloved Kermit the Frog -
gets Nancy's Lily Pads triptych for his secret room.
What a great experience...it turns out that when you are in the same neighborhood as some of the greatest theme parks in the world (although
we here in California still think that Disneyland is the greatest of them all) you run into some truly talented artists who create some wonderful
rooms. Nancy was able to spend much of this house designing and art directing things like the fishing room and the motocross room, although
she did do the basketball crowd mural herself, as well as the Turtle Bus for the Ellen Degeneres show.
Several of you have contacted us asking if Nancy did any work on the hurricane specials. The murals pictured above were done for the Biloxi
clinic so badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina. These were built by Nancy at her studio in California, then shipped to Biloxi and installed in
the clinic. Thanks for looking...
Extreme Bluegrass... first, two views from the round-the-world-room, from China to the United States, painted by Nancy for Ed Sanders. Next, Alex's
lettering, painted for Paige Huff. Lettering like this can be ordered from Nancy's studio for your child's bedroom or playroom. Next, the frog for Daniel
Kucan's room, before and after, sculpted by Nancy with a chainsaw.  Also pictured are the volunteer seamstresses, who worked long into the night to
cover the frog. And last, you never know what will show up on the set, but a baby kangaroo was a surprise. So pictured here is Kanga and Baby Roo 2.
Season Three - Gallery Three
An inspirational house for an inspirational family. Nancy was fortunate again to work with another remarkable crew of volunteers. The first room pictured is the firefighter
room, with 2 and 3 D murals designed and painted by Nancy, and a really nifty nightstand designed  by Nancy and built by hardworking carpenters. Next, an illustration
of a flower - or stylized botanical - done by Nancy and given to the redoubtable Paul Zank, who routed MDF and turned Nancy's art into a 3D design to hang on the doors
- but not before the image was used in reverse as a stamp on the wall. Last, the butterfly designed by Nancy and built by Big D, who painstakingly glued all the colored
filters in place in the dead of night.
Some highlights from the Turner family.  The carnival mural in 2D and 3D was designed by Nancy and completed with the expertise of the "Magician" of fiber optics,
Steve Berger. Nancy freehanded the drawing in Ty's Secret Room, and Ornella and her crew helped Nancy fill color in the master and finish out the serene landscape
in the shared boys' bedroom.  In the boxing room there was a second theme of child development.  The small painting are reproductions of Nancy's daughter's work
from age 2 to 5.  Notice Ty in the final image - spiked hair and all.  The last image is Nancy with her Great Aunt Alice, a New Jersey local. Last, from Nancy, " I would like
to thank all the incredibly dedicated and hard working volunteers from season 3.  Without  all of their support, we could not do what we do. A special thank you also to
the very talented artists who shared their gift to make these homes more beautiful and personal. Good luck to Tom Forman - a great three seasons! Thanks to the
incredible cast and crew of the show for being a wonderful family on the road!
Stacey Kohl and Chris Russell, serial volunteers,  you guys are awesome."
